DETAILS:
Volunteers will stand outside of the entrance of the store and ask patrons entering the store if they would like to donate food or money to Feeding of the 5000 as they hand the shopper a bag with instructions on it. Collect the bags of food and money from donors as they leave the store. A table will be set up at the entrance prior to your arrival with paper grocery bags and a collection jar. A truck or van will stop by occasionally to collect the donations.
While working solo is fine, we suggest you bring a friend or two to keep you company during your shift and help solicit and collect donations.
This store has 2 entrances. Store management has given us permission to hand out bags at both!
